Hosted MCP server
Connect to the official hosted ScreenshotOne MCP server at:
https://mcp.screenshotone.com- Open the MCP settings in your AI assistant or MCP client.
- Add
https://mcp.screenshotone.comas a remote MCP server. - Sign in to ScreenshotOne in the browser and approve the connection.
- Ask your assistant to take a screenshot, extract website Markdown, or check your ScreenshotOne API usage.
The hosted server uses OAuth, so you do not need to run a local server or copy an API key into your MCP client.
The screenshot tool returns temporary URLs instead of embedding images. It can also return Markdown content as a temporary URL from the same render, or split a long full-page screenshot into smaller slices that are easier for AI agents to analyze.
For text-first workflows, the dedicated Markdown tool accepts a URL and returns the cleaned page content directly. ScreenshotOne-specific response types and cache controls remain outside the tool contract.
