Terms of Service
Introduction
These terms of use (the “Terms”) apply to your access and use of our subscription-based API service, website, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. We will only use your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on our website. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.
Accounts and API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys.
You are responsible for all activity performed using your account, including activity generated by your applications, customers, users, contractors, or automated systems.
You must not publicly expose, share, or misuse API keys.
License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service.
You may use the Service as part of your own applications, products, and internal workflows, including applications used by your own end users, provided that:
- you do not expose the Service or API credentials directly to third parties;
- third parties do not receive standalone access to the Service;
- and you do not resell, white-label, or provide the Service as a standalone screenshot generation, rendering, or browser automation API or platform substantially similar to the Service without prior written permission.
Requests for such permission may be submitted to support@screenshotone.com.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- access or use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, impair, or interfere with the Service or any other party’s use of the Service;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity, stability, or security of the Service;
- bypass rate limits, quotas, usage restrictions, or access controls;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, infrastructure, networks, or data;
- use the Service for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- use the Service to distribute malware, phishing content, spam, or malicious content;
- use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to investigate abuse and take appropriate action, including limiting, suspending, or terminating access to the Service.
Usage Limits and Billing
Use of the Service may be subject to pricing plans, quotas, rate limits, and overage charges described on our website or documentation.
Usage beyond plan limits may result in additional charges, throttling, or temporary suspension of access.
We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, usage limits, quotas, or plan structures at any time.
Failure to pay invoices or fees may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.
Service Availability and Changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, rendering accuracy, compatibility with any specific website, or suitability for any particular purpose.
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure, browsers, networks, cloud providers, and publicly accessible websites outside our control.
We may modify, improve, discontinue, or change features, APIs, browser versions, rendering behavior, infrastructure, or technical implementation details at any time without notice.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the Service is provided without any service level agreement (SLA) or guaranteed support response times.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, infrastructure, branding, documentation, and related materials, remains our property or the property of our licensors.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or any intellectual property rights except for the limited license expressly granted above.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, at any time if we reasonably believe:
- your use violates these Terms;
- your usage threatens the stability, reliability, or security of the Service;
- payment obligations are not met;
- or continued access may expose us or others to legal, operational, or security risks.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScreenshotOne shall not be liable under any theory of liability (whether based in contract, tort, negligence, warranty, or otherwise) for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, even if ScreenshotOne has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The total liability of ScreenshotOne for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, regardless of the form of the action, shall not exceed the greater of:
- one hundred United States dollars (USD $100); or
- the amount paid by you to use the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on this page and encourage you to review the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after any changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
