Screenshots and Markdown MCP server for Claude

Use ScreenshotOne from Claude on the web or Claude Desktop through a remote custom connector. You need a ScreenshotOne account and access to custom connectors in Claude.

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.

  2. Select + → Add custom connector. Name it ScreenshotOne and enter this remote MCP server URL:

    https://mcp.screenshotone.com
  3. Add the connector, select Connect, and complete ScreenshotOne’s OAuth sign-in in the browser. Leave optional OAuth client ID and secret fields empty; you do not need a ScreenshotOne API key.

  4. In your conversation, open + → Connectors and enable ScreenshotOne.

For Team or Enterprise workspaces, an owner first adds the server under Organization settings → Connectors. Members then connect their own ScreenshotOne accounts. See Claude’s custom connector instructions for current account restrictions.

Send this prompt:

Use ScreenshotOne's render-website-screenshot tool to capture
https://example.com with full_page=true. Show me the returned image URL
and, if you can download files, save the image so I can keep it.

Check the tool result for a url. ScreenshotOne returns a temporary image link; Claude must retrieve it to inspect the pixels. If Claude displays only a link, open it and save the image yourself. Links last up to four hours.

If the tool is missing, check the conversation’s connector toggle and reconnect under Customize → Connectors. If adding a connector is unavailable, check your plan or workspace permissions. Remote connectors run through Claude’s cloud; a private URL on your laptop is not a suitable test page.

See the MCP tool reference for Markdown, full-page slices, and other screenshot options. Manage or revoke access in MCP connections.
