Claude Code
Screenshots and Markdown MCP server for Claude Code
Connect Claude Code to the hosted server using its HTTP transport. Have a ScreenshotOne account ready.
Add and authorize the server
Section titled “Add and authorize the server”Run this in the project where you want to use ScreenshotOne:
claude mcp add --transport http screenshotone https://mcp.screenshotone.comThis uses Claude Code’s default local scope for that project. To make the server available across your projects, add --scope user before the server name.
Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select screenshotone, and follow the authentication action. Complete ScreenshotOne’s OAuth sign-in in the browser, then return to Claude Code. The endpoint does not need an API key or an extra /mcp path.
The Claude Code MCP reference covers installation scopes and authentication.
Capture and save a page
Section titled “Capture and save a page”Use ScreenshotOne's render-website-screenshot tool to capturehttps://example.com with full_page=true. Download the returned imageURL into this project as example-screenshot.jpg and show me the path. The tool response contains a temporary url, not a local file. Confirm that Claude Code downloads the image and reports a file that exists. Downloading may require a separate network or file permission in your environment. The URL lasts up to four hours.
If the tool is unavailable
Section titled “If the tool is unavailable”Run claude mcp list and check /mcp for connection or authentication errors. If you added the server from another project using the default scope, add it in this project or use user scope. Reauthenticate through /mcp if access was revoked.
See all screenshot and Markdown options, or manage the connection.
