Frequently Asked Questions

Discover quick and comprehensive answers to common questions about our platform, services, and features.

What is the difference between JavaScript and Node.js fetch?
Browsers do not let fetch() set some headers, such as Cookie, Origin, Referer and Sec-*. "JavaScript (fetch)" leaves them out and uses credentials: "include" for cookies. "Node.js (fetch)" sends every header and runs on Node.js 18 or newer without extra packages.
Why can't some requests be converted to fetch?
fetch() cannot send a body with GET or HEAD, credentials in the URL, or non-ASCII header values. The converter tells you when that happens instead of generating code that sends a different request.
Do you send my curl command to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with the open-source requestcodegen library. Nothing you paste is sent to a server or stored, so tokens and cookies stay on your computer.
