Screenshots and PDFs as files for AI agents

AI agents connected to ScreenshotOne can now receive a screenshot or PDF as a file, so tools like Harvey can save it directly.

Until now, ScreenshotOne’s MCP server returned a temporary link to each screenshot. Some AI tools, such as Harvey, can’t download files from links, so the screenshot never reached the conversation.

Agents can now ask for the screenshot as a file instead. The file arrives inside the response, so the tool can show or save it, with the link still included. Every image format and PDF is supported, and long pages can be capped at a maximum height to keep the file small.

Ask your agent to “save a screenshot of this page as a file” or “attach a PDF of this page”. It works with both the hosted and the local MCP servers. See the MCP documentation for details.
